Commercial Security VideosWatch actual footage captured by Stealth Monitoring live surveillance. Our Control Center proactively monitors over 17,000 cameras each night. When they see suspicious activity our trained operators follow client protocols and current property notes and take action that can include activating speaker warnings, calling police to report an incident in progress, and contacting property staff.
Attempted Car Theft Ends in Jail Time
Around 2:00 a.m., a security operator watches as a trespasser enters a shopping center property in Denver, Colorado. The suspect attempts to gain access to a shuttle bus. The trained operator, still watching, activates an on-site speaker warning. The trespasser remains on the property, prompting the operator to contact the on-site security guard, as well as Denver Police.
When police arrive at the scene of a crime, trained security operators can stay on the phone and direct them to where the incident is occurring. They can also provide real-time information like the number of suspects, their description and location.
The trained operator sees the security guard approach the area where the shuttle bus is parked and shine his flashlight towards it, while the suspect hides inside.
Denver Police arrive. With clear direction from the security operator as to the suspect’s whereabouts, officers locate the suspect and arrest him.
A remote video surveillance system can replace traditional, on-site guards or work in conjunction with them to enhance the overall security solution of a shopping center or other type of commercial property. Trained security operators watch surveillance cameras live, to check for unusual activity. With the addition of video analytics software, the operators can watch multiple areas of a property simultaneously, often from vantage points that may be impossible for guards to access.
