Spiderman and Flash Arrested in Multifamily Residential Parking Garage Break-In
This month’s burglary features Spiderman and Flash in Seattle. Unfortunately for our dynamic duo, they left Mr. Fantastic at home. He could have told them about the live security cameras watching their ingenius but not so stealthy break-in … including the arrest.
At 3:43am two men arrive at a Seattle, Washington apartment alley. They’re prepared for a parking garage break-in with flashlights, toolbag, and an evil plan. Spiderman climbs over a fence, hops over razor wire, squeezes between a roof and door, and descends on a chain. He hits the garage door opener to let his accomplice in.
The real superheros are trained Stealth Monitoring operators who watch for suspicious activity to help deter break-ins and criminals and reduce property loss and crime. Control center operators monitor Stealth's high resolution IP megapixel security cameras or your own cameras in real-time. Video cameras can be placed throughout multifamily communities and other commercial sites to help protect property owners, tenants, vehicles, and outdoor assets. Cameras can be located at gates, alleys, fences, roofs, parking garages and lots, and other common areas.
A Stealth monitor activates an audio message and calls the Seattle police. The recording tells the villains they’re being watched and the authorities have been contacted.
The suspects roam the deserted garage. They attempt to break in to various vehicles. One car alarm goes off. Spidey and Flash open the garage door and run to freedom.
But the villains are too late. They didn’t heed the speaker warning. The Seattle Police arrive and catch the suspects before they can escape. One is arrested while the other is taken by paramedics.
Multiresidential or multidwelling sites encompass a variety of commercial real estate properties that will benefit from live surveillance as shown in this video. Often multifamily sites are composed of one or more apartment buildings. Some units may be condominiums. Apartment and building types include flats, duplexes or semi-detached apartments, townhouses, and mixed use buildings that have retail space and offices on the ground or lower floors. Larger apartment communities are often gated with security and monitored video cameras. Such apartment complexes may feature common grounds and amenities like pools, parking garages, clubhouses, laundries, and gyms, as well as a leasing office.
