Security Cameras System — Washington DC business security

Posted by Chris O' Rourke on Feb 19, 2016

Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (pictured) announced a security camera system rebate for the purchase, installation, and registration of video cameras that are installed on the outside of a building owned or leased by a business, nonprofit, or religious institution. The video cameras are intended to deter crime, such as burglaries and mail and package theft like this Washington DC Apartment Mailbox Bomber.

The city program requires the security cameras system to be registered with the Metropolitan Police Department. It allows police officers to request video footage from their owners while investigating criminal activity. The police will not have live access to the remote video cameras.

Stealth Monitoring provides live video surveillance and security cameras systems to commercial clients nationally, including Washington D.C. Stealth business customers in covered Washington DC districts who meet the program’s criteria will be eligible for a rebate of up to $200 of the purchase price per video camera up to a maximum of $750 per address.

Unlike other security cameras system providers, Stealth calls the police live when we see a crime in real-time. Stealth’s remote monitoring can deter crimes in progress and catch criminals live, instead of just recording a video for later investigation by the police. We provide video reviews to police departments upon request as a part of our multi-tiered Total Service offering. Law enforcement officials love the work we do.

Stealth Monitoring Total Service is a part of our complete security solution for superior property protection and cost savings. It’s delivered remotely through the Internet, long before a service truck could arrive on your property. The result is higher camera availability, faster support, and fewer expensive on-site service calls.

The installation of a security cameras system “is another step to deter crime and assist police during investigations,” said Mayor Bowser. “This innovative rebate program helps equip residents, small businesses, nonprofits and religious institutions with the tools they need to help prevent crime and identify suspects.”

Stealth Monitoring is a leader in proactive live surveillance with over 9,000 video cameras watched nationwide. Real-time video monitoring can detect and deter crime in Washington D.C and other cities in the U.S., while reducing security guard and other expenses. A Stealth operator can see unusual activity, activate a speaker warning to deter the thieves or criminals, and call the local police.
