Suspicious Individual at Apartment Gym Had Warrant for Arrest

Posted by Blake Mitchell on Nov 7, 2018

Common areas such as lobbies, mail rooms and fitness centers at apartment communities have assets that need protection.

Shortly after 2 a.m., a trained Stealth security operator, watching night-vision cameras, saw a suspicious individual loitering in an apartment community gym. The suspect was behaving strangely. Our operator contacted the on-site security guard who said he would check the cameras and call us back. Minutes later, our security specialist watched as police officers led a handcuffed individual outside. We called the guard back and were told the suspect had an open warrant for his arrest.

A proactive video monitoring system can help deter criminal activity, like trespassing, at a multifamily residential property. Stealth’s customized solution works in real time, to catch events as they happen. In addition to helping prevent crime, our trained operators can help eliminate costly guard expenses, reduce property risk, mitigate liabilities and improve net operating income.
