Construction Trespassers Get Tripped Up.

Posted by Paul Gross on Dec 17, 2019

A perimeter fence on its own doesn’t always keep unwanted visitors out.

Two individuals were seen climbing over the fence of a Seattle construction site just before six in the morning. Our trained Stealth operator immediately activated the on-site warning, which the suspects ignored. They quickly went inside the building. The monitoring operator then contacted Seattle police.

One of the suspects exited the site, but responding officers intercepted the other one. After questioning the individual, officers handcuffed him and placed him under arrest.

Deter Trespassers with Live Video Monitoring

Signs, lighting and perimeter fences are all part of a layered security solution. However, as you saw in the video, on their own they can’t keep determined intruders from getting into a construction site.

Live video monitoring is a customized solution that works in real time to catch activity as it happens. Using a combination of human intelligence and video analytics, trained security operators watch when there is activity, not just motion. In addition, site activities can be recorded 24/7 and archived. The entire solution can save you up to 60% on your security costs when compared to guards.
