Idle Site Attracts Curious Trespasser

Posted by Paul Gross on May 21, 2020

In this video, a trained Stealth security operator saw an individual jump over the perimeter fence of a Seattle construction site. The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie and carrying a backpack. The operator immediately activated the on-site speaker warning, but the perpetrator ignored the alert. So, our monitoring operator contacted Seattle police.

The suspect continued cruising around the site. That is, until officers arrived. The individual surrendered himself to them and was placed under arrest.

Help Protect Your Assets with Remote Video Monitoring

With the high number of construction sites having shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s been an increase in thefts and vandalism. Idle sites are an open invitation to determined thieves.

Remote video monitoring is a cost-effective solution that can help protect your valuable assets. Using advanced video analytic, trained security operators can watch multiple areas of a site simultaneously, 24/7. Should something suspicious arise, they can take immediate and appropriate action, which includes contacting local authorities.

Because our operators are safely located in remote monitoring centers, they can easily help protect your site while following social distancing guidelines.
