Apartment Security: Parking Lot Shenanigans

Posted by Eric Nauta on April 16, 2019

Parking lots and parking garages can be dangerous places, especially at night.

In this video, our Stealth Monitoring security operators observed a vehicle enter the parking lot of a Florida apartment complex just after 2 a.m. Multiple people entered and exited the car. At one point, one of the individuals appeared to light something inside the vehicle.

Based on the illicit activity, our operators contacted the Jacksonville police. Officers arrived, directed the suspects to exit the car and placed them under arrest.

As a multifamily residential property manager or owner, you want to provide your residents and their guests with a safe environment. The last thing they need to worry about is dangerous situations or suspicious people in the parking lot.

Remote video surveillance can be an efficient and cost-effective security solution. Trained monitoring operators watch for criminal activity in real time to identify and deter crime before it happens. Stealth Monitoring regularly helps multifamily properties clear out criminal behavior which results in safer, more profitable communities.
