Sidney Sommer, Founder/Managing Partner at Stealth Monitoring, has been a big supporter of Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The organization builds affordable, inclusive communities across the Greater Toronto area.
For 14 years, Sidney and the team at Stealth have been contributing to Habitat for Humanity GTA. At the beginning of the partnership in 2007, Sidney installed surveillance cameras for free at Habitat’s Toronto-area projects. This helped keep equipment and other assets safe from theft, vandalism and damage.
Since then, the relationship has progressed quite a bit. In addition to installing and managing the cameras, Stealth provides a web link to every sponsor to monitor the progress of the project. At its completion, sponsors receive a time-lapse video showcasing each step from beginning to end. Many of Stealth’s Toronto-based employees have also volunteered to build for various Habitat projects.
This year, Sidney presented Kathy Brett, Habitat for Humanity GTA Fund Development Manager, with a check for $10,800.00.
