What can happen if a project site does not have a Kansas construction site security solution? The property may face an ongoing issue with vandalism, theft and liability issues. If a criminal gets away with it one time, the reputation of the property may spread. More vandals and thieves may target the construction site. As a result, it can lead to increased operational expenses and a decrease in safety for construction workers, project managers and equipment.

What Can a Kansas Construction Site Security Solution Do?
There are a variety of Kansas construction site security solutions, including an on-site guard. Human presence on a site may seem like a valid solution, but one security guard cannot be in more than one place at a time, leaving other areas vulnerable to criminal activity. Additionally, there may be areas of a site, like scaffolding and cranes, that are inaccessible to a guard.
Live video monitoring is a more effective alternative. A security specialist will visit your property to assess the site and discuss your needs. A customized plan is then put in place, complete with surveillance cameras that are watched in real time by remote operators. Using a special software that can detect unwanted motion, these operators can watch multiple cameras simultaneously and from vantage points that aren’t accessible to guards. If they see unauthorized activity, they can activate an on-site speaker and call local police. This often results in a higher chance of an arrest and lowers the probability of damage or theft.
