Fight in Office Tower Parking Lot Results in Arrest

Posted by David Charney on Jul 15, 2022

Loitering of any kind could hurt the success of your property. Your business tenants could be made to feel uncomfortable, and their visitors might be scared to visit.

In this Arrest of the Month video, we didn’t pull any punches after seeing two people fighting in an office building parking lot.

Around 5:15 one morning, two people were seen in a physical altercation in the parking lot of a Dallas office building. Our trained monitoring professional contacted local police and provided them with a description and location of the individuals. Our security operator also contacted the property’s security guard to let them know police had been dispatched. First responders were on the scene moments later to diffuse the situation.

Solution to Help Safely Deter Loitering and Other Unwanted Activity at Your Property

When people linger outside your office building, the risk level rises. They could be there just to socialize, or as in the video, for something much more egregious.

One of the best ways to eliminate unwanted activity at your property is to detect it as soon as possible and act quickly to bring it to an end. In other words, being proactive can be the key to success.

Live video monitoring takes a proactive approach to security. Trained security professionals monitor live surveillance cameras to watch for activity in progress. They can activate speakers as needed to help deter potential criminals and unwanted trespassers. When warranted, they can call the police and provide them with live reports on criminals often before vandalism or damage occurs.

Our solution can also work in conjunction with on-site guards. Many office buildings use on-site security staff to greet employees and visitors during the day. Rather than use this often-costly solution overnight and on weekends, remote video surveillance can take over and cover more ground for less money.

In addition to being a crime deterrent, live video monitoring can help:

  • Cut risks and liability
  • Save on insurance premiums
  • Manage access
  • Make your property less of a target
