Cherun acquired his remote video surveillance company in 2011 with the help of 28 search fund investors. Before working at UCIT, Rob worked in strategy and business management at Morgan Stanley (New York City, New York). He also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Toronto. His role focused on financial services, retail payments, and technology for Canadian and international clients.
Will Sutherland- Kilmer Van Norstrand Co, business development and investment company
Sutherland is the Vice President of Investment Services of the Kilmer Group. He has more than 15 years of experience in finance and operations. Before the Kilmer Group, Will served as the Principal at Kensington Capital. His role focused on deal investment and management of private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure platforms.
Sutherland made minority and majority investments in companies who want to grow. He has invested in the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors. In addition to that, Sutherland had operational and engineering design and risk management experience with Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America and Toyota Tsusho Canada.
Phil White – Cervelo Cycles, bike manufacturing company
White co-founded Cervelo Cycles in 1995 with Gérard Vroomen. Their company achieved over $100 million and their bikes win Tour De France and races and Iron Man World championships. He currently serves as the chief innovation officer at the Pon Bicycle Group. White received his degree in mechanical engineers in 1996 from McGill University.
