Stealth Monitoring’s security experts joined other multifamily industry professionals in Atlanta at IMN’s Middle Market Multifamily Forum Southeast. Our team enjoyed meeting so many attendees, learning about their business and talking about our live video monitoring solutions.
Matt Clark, Stealth’s Regional Vice President of Sales, participated in a panel discussion entitled “How Are You Creating Value?” An appropriate topic as it relates to our value-added, proactive security solution.
As a multifamily property owner or manager, you have a responsibility to provide a safe community for your residents and their guests. Vehicle break-ins, theft, loitering and property damage can make that quite challenging.
Many multifamily communities rely on courtesy patrols to help safeguard their properties. While having human presence on site can make people feel safe, this isn’t always the best solution. Courtesy patrols and security guards can only be in one place at a time. Criminals know this and wait for them to leave an area before they make their move.
With live video monitoring, our trained security professionals monitor analytics-based cameras to watch for suspicious activity. When the camera spots something, it will alert the monitoring operator who can quickly assess the situation and take action. This means activating an on-site speaker warning at the trespassers and/or calling local authorities.
When police receive a call from us, they know we are watching a crime in progress, so they typically elevate the priority level of the call. This often results in officers arriving while the suspects are still on or near the scene.
We had a great time at IMN Middle Market Multifamily Forum. We appreciate everyone who came by our booth. If we didn’t have a chance to meet and you are interested in learning more about live video monitoring, contact us. We’d love to share more about how our proactive solution can help deter and reduce crime, mitigate liabilities and increase your NOI.
