This commercial real estate firm is a Stealth Monitoring client and takes advantage of our video surveillance monitoring service. The following Delaware commercial property is not a customer. The news report does not mention live video surveillance. The property and its tenants suffered expensive loss and damage.
A Dover, Delaware shopping center was hit with a string of burglaries. Dover Police said that the break-ins occurred between 11:30pm Thursday night and 5:43am Friday morning.
The first burglary occurred at a Chinese restaurant. The suspect broke through the front door. While inside, the suspect stole an unspecified amount of cash and $350 worth of frozen shrimp. The Chinese restaurant suffered about $800 worth of damages, according to the Dover police.
The second break-in was at a laundromat. The suspect broke into the Colorado laundromat from the back door. Just like the first victim, the laundromat had cash stolen and received about $800 worth of the damage.
The third Dover business broken into was a pizzeria. The suspect broke into the restaurant from the front door. Cash was stolen from the cash register. An alarm may have been activated. The Dover police master corporal said that the suspect ran away. This restaurant received $600 worth of damage.
Dover Police believed that the string of burglaries was done by the same person. No suspects were reported.
