Warehouse Security: Trespasser Arrested Breaking into Big Rig

Posted by Sean Murphy on July 22, 2019

If you store inventory or valuable assets outside, you know how crucial security can be.

At a Las Vegas warehouse, our security operators spotted a truck pull up to a parked 18-wheeler after hours. The passenger exited the vehicle, walked to the cab of the semi and pried open the driver-side door. He entered the cab, then exited moments later carrying a black backpack. The suspect hopped back into the pickup, which quickly drove away.

A Stealth operator contacted Las Vegas police. Officers arrived while the truck was still on the property. They pulled the vehicle over and apprehended the suspects.

Importance of Warehouse Security

Because warehouses are typically closed at night, they are at an increased risk for theft. Live video monitoring can help protect valuable assets by watching your perimeter, buildings, parking areas, loading docks and inventory when no one is there.

Stealth Monitoring was watching the Las Vegas property in real time, which allowed us to catch the crime in progress. Our team of design experts will work directly with you to create and deploy fully optimized security and surveillance systems that help protect your assets from theft, vandalism and trespassers.
