Before the individual left the shopping center, the Dallas Police arrived. The responding officer spoke with the naked trespasser and placed him under arrest.

In a span of two years, one Dallas shopping center experienced 66 drug-related arrests, two robberies, and seven aggravated assaults. The City of Dallas acquired a court injunction against the center because the property manager did not do enough to stop crime and violence. According to a Dallas Police Major, the shopping center owner is responsible for ensuring the safety of his patrons and tenants.
The shopping center has been called a crime enabler and a magnet for murder, drug dealings, and gang violence. Criminal activity has gotten so bad that Dallas Area Rapid Transit closed a bus stop at the retail center because of the ongoing violence and shootings.
Since the CBS article was published, the retail center owner has hired an armed security guard company to monitor the parking lot.
