Trespasser with Wire Cutters Accessed Construction Site

Posted by Paul Gross on April 19, 2021

In this month’s video, a man with wire cutters accessed a construction site by cutting the perimeter fence. Then we cut off his fun when we called police.

An individual carrying a pair of wire cutters gained access to a Seattle construction site after hours. He walked around, searching various areas of the site. A Stealth Monitoring security operator was watching the activity and called to dispatch Seattle police. Our operator also gave the officers information about the suspect’s location. When they arrived, they quickly found him and placed him under arrest.

Safeguard Your Project from Trespassers

While it’s virtually impossible to keep determined trespassers out of your construction site, you can take proactive measures to help safeguard your project and equipment.

Remote video monitoring uses a combination of advanced technology and human intelligence to watch for activity, not just motion. Using analytics-based cameras, trained security operators can monitor for anything suspicious happening on your site to provide a high level of security.

As an added benefit, our security system will record and archive site activities 24/7 which can help you minimize liability.
