Forbes Magazine ranked Memphis as the fourth most dangerous city in the United States. Here are a few crime reports. None of the news reports mentioned live Memphis video security cameras that could have helped prevent the incidents.

One Memphis crime victim was an 18 year old woman. She was shot outside her multifamily apartment complex in the driver seat of her car. A group of men approached the victim's vehicle. The men shot at the woman and three passengers. The driver was shot in the head and died at the hospital. Another victim was shot in the buttocks.

Violent crime was not the only type of crime to impact Memphis. Property damage crimes are also prevalent. Two culprits went to several elementary school rooftops where the trespassers stole copper and coils from air conditioning units. Both of these criminals were arrested. Their accomplice was later found at a nearby recycling center. This suspect attempted to sell over 500 pounds of air conditioning coils and 572 pounds of copper.

The local police are taking an active role in trying to reduce crime with live Memphis video security. The Memphis police installed a video surveillance network. The video security included cameras installed at an elevated height. These video cameras provided a wide field of view.
